Steven A Peden, RICP®

Steve has been in the life insurance industry since 1985, recruiting, managing and motivating agents and managers to reach the pinnacle of their abilities. Steve’s passion is to see others succeed and offer an environment that encourages them to thrive while offering their clients the most dynamic products on the market today.

Steve has been married to his lovely wife Nancy since 1984 and has three children, Brianna, Nicholas and Marissa. Brianna works as an Assistant District Attorney for the county of Los Angeles, Nicholas has begun in the Financial Services industry working alongside his father and Marissa recently graduated from CSULB and will be attending grad school in London to earn her Master’s Degree. Family is one of the most important aspects to our lives and we feel our associates and business partners are our extended family.

Richard Conlon
Vice President Richard Conlon started his career in the Financial Services Industry in 1995. He joined Steve Peden founder of Financial Concepts of America in 2005, already being acquainted with Steve through his original agency since he started in the industry . “I chose to work with Steve because I knew that Steve was someone that I could trust, he has built his organization on values and ethics. The Alliance Group was also influential because I wanted to be part of a place I knew I could spend the rest of my career.”

Richard believes in leading by example and brings tremendous vision to the organization in both sales ideas and agency building. He is currently in the top 1% of sales in our industry and a member of the “Million Dollar Round Table.” Richards biggest attribute is his ability to build long term relationships with his clients, developing more than just the agent/client relationship, always being there for his clients no matter where their needs are.

Richard is happily married to his wife Robin and has one son.

Dalton Ayala
Senior Manager of Administration and Operations

Dalton has nearly two decades experience in the life insurance industry, including managing the operations of Financial Concepts of America. He has worked on behalf of FCA and the Alliance Group for the last 11 years, and is instrumental in developing the ongoing training and support of both agents and MGA administrators in the Western United States.

Dalton served our country in the Marines during the early 1990’s in Iraq and was awarded various medals and accolades.

Armando Modesto
Regional Manager

Armando has over fifteen years experience in the Life Insurance and Annuity industry. He began his career with Hartford Life in 1996 where he originally met Steve Peden. Armando later joined FCA in 1999 where he has continually been a top agent and manager. His passion for helping American families has led to his success and awards which include both top Sales Representative and Manager of the year on several occasions. He understands that every client is an individual with different needs and looks forward to designing a program specific to each person’s goals.

Armando has been married to his lovely wife Natalie for over sixteen years and has three wonderful children. He spends his leisure time supporting his children in various sports and activities.

Mila Urnemeta
General Agent, FCA Hawaii

Mila began her career with FCA/Alliance in 2003. By 2004, she began excelling in California and desired to move back to the Hawaiian Islands to continue her career by offering our outstanding products to the people of Hawaii. Returning to the beautiful island of Oahu, she opened an office in Aiea in 2006 and began working with local representative who could bring the Alliance portfolio to Hawaii.

Mila sincerely thanks the wonderful people of Hawaii for trusting in the products and services we offer at FCA and the Alliance Group. The trust you put in us is not taken lightly and we work to ensure that trust and offer the most unique products on the market today.

Mila has three children and has been happily married to her husband Dennis for 26 years. She thoroughly enjoys being back in Hawaii and loves the wonderful weather and the beautiful people of Hawaii.

Lori Lauritzen
Washington State

Lori Lauritzen has been an integral part of FCA and the Alliance group for several years, leading our northern California division. Her leadership and lead by example attitude has been instrumental in the success of our agency. Originally from Washington state Lori attended Skagit Valley Community College before transferring to Western Washington University.

Lori began her insurance career in 1984 with Farmers Insurance before moving to State Farm insurance, while living in Washington state. While working with State Farm, she also served as a CNA in the Home Health Care industry. In 1996 Lori moved to California to further her insurance career and to be closer to her extended family. Lori became a top producer with NL Group and LSW in 1998 and has excelled in her insurance career ever since. She has won numerous production awards and attended multiple insurance conventions throughout the world.

Lori met her husband Fred while living in Alaska in the mid-eighties and was married in 1986 and has one daughter Patricia who has followed her into the insurance industry.
